Over the years I have tried several plant-based cheeses, but the vegetable grating cheese I propose today is the most simple and tasty version that I have ever experienced, and I am happy to share it with you. A
cashew dough, flavoured with very few other ingredients, perfect to eat in flakes or to use to make special
first and second courses. In a few minutes you will get a 100% vegan cheese, tasty, of the right consistency
and that will win over even the most sceptical.
Tacos with Jackfruit Chili
Jackfruit chili tacos are a 100% plant-based alternative to the traditional Mexican recipe, very quick and easy to prepare. You only need three ingredients to make this dish: corn flour, wholemeal flour and water. Actually, the original version uses only corn flour, but I decided to experiment with an easier to work with dough that can really be prepared in a few minutes on days when we are short on time. A dough made only with cornmeal requires more attention and crumbles easily, so it is not simple to use for those who want to make tacos quickly (if you prefer, however, you can replace the whole wheat flour with other cornmeal).
Jackfruit Chili -Natureat vegan Recipes
Chili is a very tasty and flavourful Tex-Mex recipe that can be easily made in a 100% vegetable way: the version I suggest you here is a truly irresistible jackfruit chili. Chili is a very versatile dish that can be made with different ingredients according to the season, it’s perfect as a side dish, to fill wraps, burritos, tacos and sandwiches, or simply to be enjoyed as a stew. The special feature of this recipe is definitely the jackfruit, which, although being a fruit, when cooked, takes on a very meaty consistency.
