Plant- Based Chickpeas Burgers

Plant- Based burgers are a way to make a single dish with many genuine and seasonal ingredients, they are easy and quick to prepare and we can make them in many different shapes. Making burgers is a way to have healthy food always at your disposal. As a matter of fact, we can make the dough the previous day and store it in the fridge until the time of preparation, or we can freeze the raw burgers and thaw them whenever we wish.

I suggest you a simple and tasty recipe, which Noah and I love.

Recipe

  • 200 g of Cooked Chickpeas
  • 100 g of Oat Flakes
  • 100 g of Raw Spinach
  • 1 small Leek
  • 1 Garlic Clove
  • 2 tbsp of Parsley
  • 1/2 Lemon
  • E.V.O. Oil
  • Aromatic Herbs of your choice
  • A pinch of Curry Powder

Process

  1. Blend the chickpeas, oat flakes, spinach, shredded leek and garlic, parsley, selected herbs, olive oil and curry, until you get a homogeneous and easy to work dough.
  2. Let it rest in the fridge for 30 minutes, then shape the burgers and cook in a pan with a little oil for 4-5 minutes per side. Serve with a squeeze of lemon juice.
