Rice Chocolate Pudding – Vegan Recipes

Rice Chocolate Pudding – Vegan Recipes

It has ever happened to have a desire to make a dessert suddenly, going to open the cupboard and realizing that you do not have any flour for giving it up? This happens when you have a narrow view of what you can eat and little creative spirit. To tell the truth, a dessert can be prepared from the most unlikely ingredients and not only, as many believe, by combining some sugar, milk, eggs and flour.

For example, today I have prepared a more than usual delicious snack: a dense and soft rice chocolate pudding cooked in vegetable milk and flavored with lemon zest and vanilla extract. It is an easy and quick totally vegan recipe, which contains as a main ingredient a cereal that you could hardly have imagined to be put in a dessert.

Try it now and you will love it from its first taste!

Vegan cosmetics: it’s a blast!

Vegan cosmetics: it’s a blast!

Vegan products are spreading up even in the cruelty free makeup market brands.

Every year the list continues to spread with the latest and newest brands.

There is a huge number of green and natural cosmetics, but also body and face lotions are becoming popular among vegans and not only.

You can shop the vegan and cruelty free products almost everywhere: from herbalist’s shops to online websites. There are arguably many popular vegan make up brands, which offer tones of choice of every kind makeup…

It is arguable that animal ingredients are cruel and unpleasant. There are so many cruelty-free brands you can find just surfing the web: it’s just up to you!

The world is changing….

Still many companies exploit animals for their business and many people are still ignoring that their cosmetics are made of animal derivatives, such as placenta-derived (collagen); elastin (from animal tissue); lanoline (wool grease). Some other examples are the cochineal, which is extracted from the body and the eggs of insects to make lipsticks and many other cosmetic products, or squalene, which is a compound that you can find in shark liver to make body lotions, as well as beef bone marrow and placenta. These last two animal derivatives are used to make hair products.

An immediate end…

Animals will soon stop suffering in the name of the entertainment and human exploitation. The ultimate goal is raising the awareness in all worldwide companies, which still exploit animal derivatives. The Web will certainly contribute to radically change this compromised system.

Today, news access and transparency leads to awareness about how cosmetics are produced. This influences every consumer to reflect, otherwise to ignore it all or to boycott the use of animal derived products. If so, the consumers will rationally opt for natural and cruelty-free products; indeed, the predominant choice is pretty obvious!

It’s a vegan Christmas!

It’s a vegan Christmas!

This year have a cruelty-free Christmas!

The season of giving is coming and for some people it means to make Christmas presents complying with an ethical way of life.

It’s not that easy, but with a little effort you can reduce your footprint of the environment and donate ethical and cruelty free presents.

This year we might boycott to donate the same old shower gel, perfume, scarf, or even hat… We just have to rethink from a new original cruelty-free point of view…

You can choose, for instance, cruelty-free clothes, cosmetics or food.

Vegan products under your tree

Those who are planning a cruelty-free veggie Christmas don’t have to be worried to make a bad impression… In fact, there are plenty of original alternative ideas and recipes you can offer to your guest.

So, why don’t you start to avoid giving the predictable Christmas basket full of salami, ham, dairy products, alcohol, unhealthy torrone sweet and so on?

There are lots of healthier and ethical products that are, in addition, always useful in everyday life for cooking or dressing. Some examples are: Italian DOC EVO olive oil, citrus from Sicily, but also handcrafted vegetable candles, and so on…

Cruelty-free cosmetics and shoes

Cosmetics and clothes, even shoes, have always been very popular Christmas gifts. Today, there are lots of cruelty-free and ethical brands. Many brands have banned animal testing on cosmetics sold in the UK and in the EU.

Many fabrics as well have banned the use of fur and leather from their products. So, we are plenty more and more of cruelty-free products and brands  that avoid real fur, leather and wool for clothes.
